Rajgad Fort, meaning 'Royal Fort', served as the first capital of the Maratha Empire under Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj before Raigad. Located about 60 km from Pune, it stands as a symbol of Maratha glory and resilience.

Constructed on the Murumbadevi Hill at a height of 4,350 feet, the fort is known for its vast size, historical structures, and scenic trekking routes.
