About this destination

Phansad Wildlife Sanctuary, located between Murud and Roha in Raigad district, is a hidden ecological gem of the Konkan coast. Spread over 52 square kilometers, it preserves the semi-evergreen coastal forest ecosystem of the Western Ghats.

This sanctuary shelters over 700 plant species, 150 bird species, 30 mammals, and a rich variety of butterflies and reptiles. It’s an ideal spot for nature lovers, photographers, and eco-tourists seeking peace away from city life.
