The Vighneshwar Temple, located in the tranquil village of Ozar in Pune district, is one of the revered Ashtavinayak shrines dedicated to Lord Ganesha.

Lord Ganesha is worshipped here as 'Vighneshwar', the remover of all obstacles and harbinger of success and prosperity.

This temple was built during the Peshwa era and showcases exquisite stone carvings, sculpted pillars, and a golden dome (Kalash) that glows magnificently under the sun.

According to legend, Lord Ganesha defeated the demon Vighnasura here, who later became His devoted follower.
